Taxpayers in the country are anticipating tax relief from the forthcoming budget if comments from patrons who visited the MRA stand at the just ended 24th International Trade Fair are anything to go by.
Most people who patronized the MRA stand wanted to know whether the new financial year will bring relief or not in terms of tax measures. The comments come amidst a general perception that the tax rates introduced under the 2011/12 Zero deficit budget are punitive to Malawians.
