The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) is participating in this year’s 33rd Malawi International Trade Fair in Blantyre.
This year’s theme is ‘Rebalancing Malawi’s Trade Through Industrialisation’ and MRA is expected to engage participants on various reforms that is undertaking.
Speaking during the opening, MRA’s Brand Management Specialist, Caroline Nkhoma said MRA intends to sensitise participants on various reforms that MRA is undertaking.
“Msonkho Online is one of the reforms and MRA will take advantage on this platform to sensitise taxpayers on how they can register, submit returns and pay taxes on Msonkho Online.
We will also be sensitizing participants on Presumptive tax, Advance Income Tax, toll free line, and marketing Taxpayer Charter to make participants understand their rights and obligations,” Nkhoma explained.
This year’s Malawi International Trade Fair will run from 17th to 26th May, 2023.
