The Authority is urging all taxpayers to take part in this exercise, which is aimed at updating taxpayers’ information in readiness to roll out Msonkho Online. This is a modern system that automates end-to-end tax processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in tax compliance management and taxpayer service management. Updating taxpayer information will ensure that the new system has correct details of taxpayers to better serve them.
Notable updated taxpayer records by station include Blantyre 6,255, Lilongwe 3,510 Mzuzu 2,514, Zomba 1,400, and 1,103 for Mulanje
The taxpayers that update their information will ably access and use Msonkho Online.The automated integrated tax administration system will start operating the beginning of next year.
MRA is migrating taxpayers’ data to Msonkho Online for seamless enhancement of service delivery.
