The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) has noted with great concern reports of a bogus vacancy announcement circulating on Social Media purporting that the Authority has advertised for the post of a Customs Revenue Officer.
The Authority would like to distance itself from the malicious publication or the circulation of the bogus vacancy. The public is therefore, informed that there is no vacancy for the position of a Customs Revenue Officer.
As an organization, we ALWAYS publish official adverts including those for vacancies on our official communication platforms and newspapers.
We wish to warn the public about the bogus vacancy announcement and advise the public not to apply for such a non-existent vacancy.
The Authority is investigating those behind the false publication of the bogus vacancy and, once the culprits are found, would be dealt with in accordance with the law.
