The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) is pleased to inform all licensed Customs Clearing companies that the Authority will conduct Customs Certified Clearing Specialist Accreditation Training for Customs clearing personnel.
The training is intended to build capacity among them in preparation for the operationalization of the Tax Administration Act (TAA).
The training will be offered at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) from August 2023 and each participant would be provided with tuition scholarship only MRA is, therefore, calling upon all registered Customs clearing companies to participate in the training by submitting applications for their nominated representatives to the Authority for consideration by Friday, 28th July 2023.
Participation in the program will be one of the pre-conditions for license renewal once the TAA is fully operationalized.
Kindly, note that due to space limitation, the Authority will admit one clerk from each Customs clearing company in the first two cohorts of the program.
Applications should be accompanied by a Curriculum Vitae of the nominated representative who
must have a clean record and at least one-year work experience in the Customs clearing industry.

Should you not submit your application by the due date, the Authority will consider you as not interested to operate as a Customs Clearing company.
