The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) is pleased to inform the business community and the general public that the Authority is embarking on a significant upgrade of Customs Management System from ASYCUDA World version 4.3.3 to ASYCUDA World version 4.4.
This upgrade is a vital step in our commitment to modernize and enhance operational efficiency and at the same time promote trade facilitation. The ASYCUDA World version 4.4 will be accessed on http://asyw.mra.mw/
The system upgrade is expected to resolve existing system challenges and provide streamlined business processes resulting in efficient service delivery and reduced clearance times.
//The migration to ASYCUDA WORLD 4.4 is scheduled for 11th January 2025 and measures have been put in place to ensure that there is minimum disruption to business operations.
MRA undertakes to support all users who might require assistance during the upgrade process including clearing agents, importers and exporters at all its Customs stations across the country and the Head Office.
To facilitate smooth transition, the system will be unavailable from 10th January 2025, starting from 21:00 hours to 06:00 hours on 11th January 2025.
